King James Version
1. Now He said to Moses, "Come up to the LORD, you and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and worship from afar. 2. "And Moses alone shall come near the LORD, but they shall not come near; nor shall the people go up with him." 3. So Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD and all the judgments. And all the people answered with one voice and said, "All the words which the LORD has said we will do." 4. And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD. And he rose early in the morning, and built an altar at the foot of the mountain, and twelve pillars according to the twelve tribes of Israel. 5. Then he sent young men of the children of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen to the LORD. 6. And Moses took half the blood and put it in basins, and half the blood he sprinkled on the altar. 7. Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read in the hearing of the people. And they said, "All that the LORD has said we will do, and be obedient." 8. And Moses took the blood, sprinkled it on the people, and said, "This is the blood of the covenant which the LORD has made with you according to all these words." 9. Then Moses went up, also Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, 10. and they saw the God of Israel. And there was under His feet as it were a paved work of sapphire stone, and it was like the very heavens in its clarity. 11. But on the nobles of the children of Israel He did not lay His hand. So they saw God, and they ate and drank. 12. Then the LORD said to Moses, "Come up to Me on the mountain and be there; and I will give you tablets of stone, and the law and commandments which I have written, that you may teach them." 13. So Moses arose with his assistant Joshua, and Moses went up to the mountain of God. 14. And he said to the elders, "Wait here for us until we come back to you. Indeed Aaron and Hur are with you. If any man has a difficulty, let him go to them." 15. Then Moses went up into the mountain, and a cloud covered the mountain. 16. Now the glory of the LORD rested on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day He called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud. 17. The sight of the glory of the LORD was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel. 18. So Moses went into the midst of the cloud and went up into the mountain. And Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.
1. Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: 2. "Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring Me an offering. From everyone who gives it willingly with his heart you shall take My offering. 3. "And this is the offering which you shall take from them: gold, silver, and bronze; 4. "blue, purple, and scarlet thread , fine linen, and goats’ hair ; 5. "ram skins dyed red, badger skins, and acacia wood; 6. "oil for the light, and spices for the anointing oil and for the sweet incense; 7. "onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod and in the breastplate. 8. "And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them.
1. <> The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 0. 2He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. 3. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. 4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. 5. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. 6. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.
1. <> The earth is the LORD’S, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein. 0. 2For He has founded it upon the seas, And established it upon the waters. 3. Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who may stand in His holy place? 4. He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully. 5. He shall receive blessing from the LORD, And righteousness from the God of his salvation. 6. This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek Your face. Selah 7. 1. << A Psalm of David.>> To You, O LORD, I lift up my soul. 2. O my God, I trust in You; Let me not be ashamed; Let not my enemies triumph over me. 3. Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed; Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause. 4. Show me Your ways, O LORD; Teach me Your paths. 5. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day. 6. Remember, O LORD, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindnesses, For they are from of old. 7. Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; According to Your mercy remember me, For Your goodness’ sake, O LORD. 8. Good and upright is the LORD; Therefore He teaches sinners in the way. 9. The humble He guides in justice, And the humble He teaches His way. 10. All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth, To such as keep His covenant and His testimonies. 11. For Your name’s sake, O LORD, Pardon my iniquity, for it is great. 12. Who is the man that fears the LORD? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses. 13. He himself shall dwell in prosperity, And his descendants shall inherit the earth. 14. The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant. 15. My eyes are ever toward the LORD, For He shall pluck my feet out of the net. 16. Turn Yourself to me, and have mercy on me, For I am desolate and afflicted. 17. The troubles of my heart have enlarged; Bring me out of my distresses! 18. Look on my affliction and my pain, And forgive all my sins. 19. Consider my enemies, for they are many; And they hate me with cruel hatred. 20. Keep my soul, and deliver me; Let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in You. 21. Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, For I wait for You. 22. Redeem Israel, O God, Out of all their troubles!
1. Then Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest 2. and asked letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem. 3. As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven. 4. Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?" 5. And he said, "Who are You, Lord?" Then the Lord said, "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads." 6. So he, trembling and astonished, said, "Lord, what do You want me to do?" Then the Lord said to him, "Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do." 7. And the men who journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice but seeing no one. 8. Then Saul arose from the ground, and when his eyes were opened he saw no one. But they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus. 9. And he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank. 10. Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias; and to him the Lord said in a vision, "Ananias." And he said, "Here I am, Lord." 11. So the Lord said to him, "Arise and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for one called Saul of Tarsus, for behold, he is praying. 12. "And in a vision he has seen a man named Ananias coming in and putting his hand on him, so that he might receive his sight." 13. Then Ananias answered, "Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much harm he has done to Your saints in Jerusalem. 14. "And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on Your name." 15. But the Lord said to him, "Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel. 16. "For I will show him how many things he must suffer for My name’s sake." 17. And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said, "Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit." 18. Immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he received his sight at once; and he arose and was baptized. 19. So when he had received food, he was strengthened. Then Saul spent some days with the disciples at Damascus.
