KEL 29 38-46

38.   "Now this is what you shall offer on the altar: two lambs of the first year, day by day continually. 39.   "One lamb you shall offer in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer at twilight. 40.   "With the one lamb shall be one–tenth of an ephah of flour mixed with one–fourth of a hin of pressed oil, and one–fourth of a hin of wine as a drink offering. 41.   "And the other lamb you shall offer at twilight; and you shall offer with it the grain offering and the drink offering, as in the morning, for a sweet aroma, an offering made by fire to the LORD. 42.   " This shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the tabernacle of meeting before the LORD, where I will meet you to speak with you. 43.   "And there I will meet with the children of Israel, and the tabernacle shall be sanctified by My glory. 44.   "So I will consecrate the tabernacle of meeting and the altar. I will also consecrate both Aaron and his sons to minister to Me as priests. 45.   "I will dwell among the children of Israel and will be their God. 46.   "And they shall know that I am the LORD their God, who brought them up out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them. I am the LORD their God.

KEL 30 1-21

1.   "You shall make an altar to burn incense on; you shall make it of acacia wood. 2.   "A cubit shall be its length and a cubit its width––it shall be square––and two cubits shall be its height. Its horns shall be of one piece with it. 3.   "And you shall overlay its top, its sides all around, and its horns with pure gold; and you shall make for it a molding of gold all around. 4.   "Two gold rings you shall make for it, under the molding on both its sides. You shall place them on its two sides, and they will be holders for the poles with which to bear it. 5.   "You shall make the poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold. 6.   "And you shall put it before the veil that is before the ark of the Testimony, before the mercy seat that is over the Testimony, where I will meet with you. 7.   "Aaron shall burn on it sweet incense every morning; when he tends the lamps, he shall burn incense on it. 8.   "And when Aaron lights the lamps at twilight, he shall burn incense on it, a perpetual incense before the LORD throughout your generations. 9.   "You shall not offer strange incense on it, or a burnt offering, or a grain offering; nor shall you pour a drink offering on it. 10.   "And Aaron shall make atonement upon its horns once a year with the blood of the sin offering of atonement; once a year he shall make atonement upon it throughout your generations. It is most holy to the LORD." 11.   Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: 12.   "When you take the census of the children of Israel for their number, then every man shall give a ransom for himself to the LORD, when you number them, that there may be no plague among them when you number them. 13.   "This is what everyone among those who are numbered shall give: half a shekel according to the shekel of the sanctuary (a shekel is twenty gerahs). The half–shekel shall be an offering to the LORD. 14.   "Everyone included among those who are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering to the LORD. 15.   "The rich shall not give more and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when you give an offering to the LORD, to make atonement for yourselves. 16.   "And you shall take the atonement money of the children of Israel, and shall appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of meeting, that it may be a memorial for the children of Israel before the LORD, to make atonement for yourselves." 17.   Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: 18.   "You shall also make a laver of bronze, with its base also of bronze, for washing. You shall put it between the tabernacle of meeting and the altar. And you shall put water in it, 19.   "for Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet in water from it. 20.   "When they go into the tabernacle of meeting, or when they come near the altar to minister, to burn an offering made by fire to the LORD, they shall wash with water, lest they die. 21.   "So they shall wash their hands and their feet, lest they die. And it shall be a statute forever to them––to him and his descendants throughout their generations."

MZM 37

1.   << A Psalm of David.>> Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. 2.   For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb. 3.   Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. 4.   Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. 5.   Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. 6.   He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday. 7.   Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. 8.   Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret–– it only causes harm. 9.   For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the LORD, They shall inherit the earth. 10.   For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more ; Indeed, you will look carefully for his place, But it shall be no more . 11.   But the meek shall inherit the earth, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. 12.   The wicked plots against the just, And gnashes at him with his teeth. 13.   The Lord laughs at him, For He sees that his day is coming. 14.   The wicked have drawn the sword And have bent their bow, To cast down the poor and needy, To slay those who are of upright conduct. 15.   Their sword shall enter their own heart, And their bows shall be broken. 16.   A little that a righteous man has Is better than the riches of many wicked. 17.   For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, But the LORD upholds the righteous. 18.   The LORD knows the days of the upright, And their inheritance shall be forever. 19.   They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. 20.   But the wicked shall perish; And the enemies of the LORD, Like the splendor of the meadows, shall vanish. Into smoke they shall vanish away. 21.   The wicked borrows and does not repay, But the righteous shows mercy and gives. 22.   For those blessed by Him shall inherit the earth, But those cursed by Him shall be cut off. 23.   The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, And He delights in his way. 24.   Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the LORD upholds him with His hand. 25.   I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread. 26.   He is ever merciful, and lends; And his descendants are blessed. 27.   Depart from evil, and do good; And dwell forevermore. 28.   For the LORD loves justice, And does not forsake His saints; They are preserved forever, But the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off. 29.   The righteous shall inherit the land, And dwell in it forever. 30.   The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, And his tongue talks of justice. 31.   The law of his God is in his heart; None of his steps shall slide. 32.   The wicked watches the righteous, And seeks to slay him. 33.   The LORD will not leave him in his hand, Nor condemn him when he is judged. 34.   Wait on the LORD, And keep His way, And He shall exalt you to inherit the land; When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it . 35.   I have seen the wicked in great power, And spreading himself like a native green tree. 36.   Yet he passed away, and behold, he was no more ; Indeed I sought him, but he could not be found. 37.   Mark the blameless man , and observe the upright; For the future of that man is peace. 38.   But the transgressors shall be destroyed together; The future of the wicked shall be cut off. 39.   But the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their strength in the time of trouble. 40.   And the LORD shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, And save them, Because they trust in Him.

KIS 13 1-25

1.   Now in the church that was at Antioch there were certain prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. 2.   As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, "Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them." 3.   Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away. 4.   So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia, and from there they sailed to Cyprus. 5.   And when they arrived in Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews. They also had John as their assistant. 6.   Now when they had gone through the island to Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew whose name was Bar–Jesus, 7.   who was with the proconsul, Sergius Paulus, an intelligent man. This man called for Barnabas and Saul and sought to hear the word of God. 8.   But Elymas the sorcerer (for so his name is translated) withstood them, seeking to turn the proconsul away from the faith. 9.   Then Saul, who also is called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked intently at him 10.   and said, "O full of all deceit and all fraud, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the straight ways of the Lord? 11.   "And now, indeed, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a time." And immediately a dark mist fell on him, and he went around seeking someone to lead him by the hand. 12.   Then the proconsul believed, when he saw what had been done, being astonished at the teaching of the Lord. 13.   Now when Paul and his party set sail from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia; and John, departing from them, returned to Jerusalem. 14.   But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day and sat down. 15.   And after the reading of the Law and the Prophets, the rulers of the synagogue sent to them, saying, "Men and brethren, if you have any word of exhortation for the people, say on." 16.   Then Paul stood up, and motioning with his hand said, "Men of Israel, and you who fear God, listen: 17.   "The God of this people Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt, and with an uplifted arm He brought them out of it. 18.   "Now for a time of about forty years He put up with their ways in the wilderness. 19.   "And when He had destroyed seven nations in the land of Canaan, He distributed their land to them by allotment. 20.   "After that He gave them judges for about four hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the prophet. 21.   "And afterward they asked for a king; so God gave them Saul the son of Kish, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, for forty years. 22.   "And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.’ 23.   "From this man’s seed, according to the promise, God raised up for Israel a Savior––Jesus–– 24.   "after John had first preached, before His coming, the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel. 25.   "And as John was finishing his course, he said, ‘Who do you think I am? I am not He . But behold, there comes One after me, the sandals of whose feet I am not worthy to loose.’
