King James Version

MZM 23-25
1TES 1

MZM 23

1.   <> The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 0.   2He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. 3.   He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. 4.   Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. 5.   You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. 6.   Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.

MZM 24

1.   <> The earth is the LORD’S, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein. 0.   2For He has founded it upon the seas, And established it upon the waters. 3.   Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who may stand in His holy place? 4.   He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully. 5.   He shall receive blessing from the LORD, And righteousness from the God of his salvation. 6.   This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek Your face. Selah 7.   Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. 8.   Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, The LORD mighty in battle. 9.   Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. 10.   Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah

MZM 25

1.   << A Psalm of David.>> To You, O LORD, I lift up my soul. 2.   O my God, I trust in You; Let me not be ashamed; Let not my enemies triumph over me. 3.   Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed; Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause. 4.   Show me Your ways, O LORD; Teach me Your paths. 5.   Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day. 6.   Remember, O LORD, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindnesses, For they are from of old. 7.   Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; According to Your mercy remember me, For Your goodness’ sake, O LORD. 8.   Good and upright is the LORD; Therefore He teaches sinners in the way. 9.   The humble He guides in justice, And the humble He teaches His way. 10.   All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth, To such as keep His covenant and His testimonies. 11.   For Your name’s sake, O LORD, Pardon my iniquity, for it is great. 12.   Who is the man that fears the LORD? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses. 13.   He himself shall dwell in prosperity, And his descendants shall inherit the earth. 14.   The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant. 15.   My eyes are ever toward the LORD, For He shall pluck my feet out of the net. 16.   Turn Yourself to me, and have mercy on me, For I am desolate and afflicted. 17.   The troubles of my heart have enlarged; Bring me out of my distresses! 18.   Look on my affliction and my pain, And forgive all my sins. 19.   Consider my enemies, for they are many; And they hate me with cruel hatred. 20.   Keep my soul, and deliver me; Let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in You. 21.   Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, For I wait for You. 22.   Redeem Israel, O God, Out of all their troubles!

1TES 1

1.   Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2.   We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers, 3.   remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father, 4.   knowing, beloved brethren, your election by God. 5.   For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake. 6.   And you became followers of us and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit, 7.   so that you became examples to all in Macedonia and Achaia who believe. 8.   For from you the word of the Lord has sounded forth, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place. Your faith toward God has gone out, so that we do not need to say anything. 9.   For they themselves declare concerning us what manner of entry we had to you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, 10.   and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.
