King James Version

MZM 113-115
LUK 9:1-17

MZM 113

1.   Praise the LORD! Praise, O servants of the LORD, Praise the name of the LORD! 2.   Blessed be the name of the LORD From this time forth and forevermore! 3.   From the rising of the sun to its going down The LORD’S name is to be praised. 4.   The LORD is high above all nations, His glory above the heavens. 5.   Who is like the LORD our God, Who dwells on high, 6.   Who humbles Himself to behold The things that are in the heavens and in the earth? 7.   He raises the poor out of the dust, And lifts the needy out of the ash heap, 8.   That He may seat him with princes––With the princes of His people. 9.   He grants the barren woman a home, Like a joyful mother of children. Praise the LORD!

MZM 114

1.   When Israel went out of Egypt, The house of Jacob from a people of strange language, 2.   Judah became His sanctuary, And Israel His dominion. 3.   The sea saw it and fled; Jordan turned back. 4.   The mountains skipped like rams, The little hills like lambs. 5.   What ails you, O sea, that you fled? O Jordan, that you turned back? 6.   O mountains, that you skipped like rams? O little hills, like lambs? 7.   Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, At the presence of the God of Jacob, 8.   Who turned the rock into a pool of water, The flint into a fountain of waters.

MZM 115

1.   Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, But to Your name give glory, Because of Your mercy, Because of Your truth. 2.   Why should the Gentiles say, "So where is their God?" 3.   But our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases. 4.   Their idols are silver and gold, The work of men’s hands. 5.   They have mouths, but they do not speak; Eyes they have, but they do not see; 6.   They have ears, but they do not hear; Noses they have, but they do not smell; 7.   They have hands, but they do not handle; Feet they have, but they do not walk; Nor do they mutter through their throat. 8.   Those who make them are like them; So is everyone who trusts in them. 9.   O Israel, trust in the LORD; He is their help and their shield. 10.   O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD; He is their help and their shield. 11.   You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD; He is their help and their shield. 12.   The LORD has been mindful of us ; He will bless us; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron. 13.   He will bless those who fear the LORD, Both small and great. 14.   May the LORD give you increase more and more, You and your children. 15.   May you be blessed by the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. 16.   The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’S; But the earth He has given to the children of men. 17.   The dead do not praise the LORD, Nor any who go down into silence. 18.   But we will bless the LORD From this time forth and forevermore. Praise the LORD!

LUK 9 1-17

1.   Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. 2.   He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. 3.   And He said to them, "Take nothing for the journey, neither staffs nor bag nor bread nor money; and do not have two tunics apiece. 4.   "Whatever house you enter, stay there, and from there depart. 5.   "And whoever will not receive you, when you go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet as a testimony against them." 6.   So they departed and went through the towns, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere. 7.   Now Herod the tetrarch heard of all that was done by Him; and he was perplexed, because it was said by some that John had risen from the dead, 8.   and by some that Elijah had appeared, and by others that one of the old prophets had risen again. 9.   Herod said, "John I have beheaded, but who is this of whom I hear such things?" So he sought to see Him. 10.   And the apostles, when they had returned, told Him all that they had done. Then He took them and went aside privately into a deserted place belonging to the city called Bethsaida. 11.   But when the multitudes knew it , they followed Him; and He received them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who had need of healing. 12.   When the day began to wear away, the twelve came and said to Him, "Send the multitude away, that they may go into the surrounding towns and country, and lodge and get provisions; for we are in a deserted place here." 13.   But He said to them, "You give them something to eat." And they said, "We have no more than five loaves and two fish, unless we go and buy food for all these people." 14.   For there were about five thousand men. Then He said to His disciples, "Make them sit down in groups of fifty." 15.   And they did so, and made them all sit down. 16.   Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude. 17.   So they all ate and were filled, and twelve baskets of the leftover fragments were taken up by them.
