And you shall overlay it with bronze. 3.   "Also you shall make its pans to receive its ashes, and its shovels and its basins and its forks and its firepans; you shall make all its utensils of bronze. 4.   "You shall make a grate for it, a network of bronze; and on the network you shall make four bronze rings at its four corners. 5.   "You shall put it under the rim of the altar beneath, that the network may be midway up the altar. 6.   "And you shall make poles for the altar, poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with bronze. 7.   "The poles shall be put in the rings, and the poles shall be on the two sides of the altar to bear it. 8.   "You shall make it hollow with boards; as it was shown you on the mountain, so shall they make it . 9.   "You shall also make the court of the tabernacle. It shall have four pillars and four sockets. 17.   "All the pillars around the court shall have bands of silver; their hooks shall be of silver and their sockets of bronze. 18.   "The length of the court shall be one hundred cubits, the width fifty throughout, and the height five cubits, made of fine woven linen, and its sockets of bronze. 19.   "All the utensils of the tabernacle for all its service, all its pegs, and all the pegs of the court, shall be of bronze. 20.   "And you shall command the children of Israel that they bring you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to cause the lamp to burn continually. 21.   "In the tabernacle of meeting, outside the veil which is before the Testimony, Aaron and his sons shall tend it from evening until morning before the LORD. It shall be a statute forever to their generations on behalf of the children of Israel.

MZM 31

1.   <> In You, O LORD, I put my trust; Let me never be ashamed; Deliver me in Your righteousness. 2.   Bow down Your ear to me, Deliver me speedily; Be my rock of refuge, A fortress of defense to save me. 3.   For You are my rock and my fortress; Therefore, for Your name’s sake, Lead me and guide me. 4.   Pull me out of the net which they have secretly laid for me, For You are my strength. 5.   Into Your hand I commit my spirit; You have redeemed me, O LORD God of truth. 6.   I have hated those who regard useless idols; But I trust in the LORD. 7.   I will be glad and rejoice in Your mercy, For You have considered my trouble; You have known my soul in adversities, 8.   And have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a wide place. 9.   Have mercy on me, O LORD, for I am in trouble; My eye wastes away with grief, Yes , my soul and my body! 10.   For my life is spent with grief, And my years with sighing; My strength fails because of my iniquity, And my bones waste away. 11.   I am a reproach among all my enemies, But especially among my neighbors, And am repulsive to my acquaintances; Those who see me outside flee from me. 12.   I am forgotten like a dead man, out of mind; I am like a broken vessel. 13.   For I hear the slander of many; Fear is on every side; While they take counsel together against me, They scheme to take away my life. 14.   But as for me, I trust in You, O LORD; I say, "You are my God." 15.   My times are in Your hand; Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, And from those who persecute me. 16.   Make Your face shine upon Your servant; Save me for Your mercies’ sake. 17.   Do not let me be ashamed, O LORD, for I have called upon You; Let the wicked be ashamed; Let them be silent in the grave. 18.   Let the lying lips be put to silence, Which speak insolent things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous. 19.   Oh, how great is Your goodness, Which You have laid up for those who fear You, Which You have prepared for those who trust in You In the presence of the sons of men! 20.   You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence From the plots of man; You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion From the strife of tongues. 21.   Blessed be the LORD, For He has shown me His marvelous kindness in a strong city! 22.   For I said in my haste, "I am cut off from before Your eyes"; Nevertheless You heard the voice of my supplications When I cried out to You. 23.   Oh, love the LORD, all you His saints! For the LORD preserves the faithful, And fully repays the proud person. 24.   Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the LORD.

MZM 32

1.   << A Psalm of David. A Contemplation.>> Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered. 2.   Blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit. 3.   When I kept silent, my bones grew old Through my groaning all the day long. 4.   For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; My vitality was turned into the drought of summer. Selah 5.   I acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD," And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah 6.   For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You In a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters They shall not come near him. 7.   You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah 8.   I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye. 9.   Do not be like the horse or like the mule, Which have no understanding, Which must be harnessed with bit and bridle, Else they will not come near you. 10.   Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; But he who trusts in the LORD, mercy shall surround him. 11.   Be glad in the LORD and rejoice, you righteous; And shout for joy, all you upright in heart!

KIS 10 24-48

24.   And the following day they entered Caesarea. Now Cornelius was waiting for them, and had called together his relatives and close friends. 25.   As Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him and fell down at his feet and worshiped him . 26.   But Peter lifted him up, saying, "Stand up; I myself am also a man." 27.   And as he talked with him, he went in and found many who had come together. 28.   Then he said to them, "You know how unlawful it is for a Jewish man to keep company with or go to one of another nation. But God has shown me that I should not call any man common or unclean. 29.   "Therefore I came without objection as soon as I was sent for. I ask, then, for what reason have you sent for me?" 30.   So Cornelius said, "Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing, 31.   "and said, ‘Cornelius, your prayer has been heard, and your alms are remembered in the sight of God. 32.   ‘Send therefore to Joppa and call Simon here, whose surname is Peter. He is lodging in the house of Simon, a tanner, by the sea. When he comes, he will speak to you.’ 33.   "So I sent to you immediately, and you have done well to come. Now therefore, we are all present before God, to hear all the things commanded you by God." 34.   Then Peter opened his mouth and said: "In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. 35.   "But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him. 36.   "The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ––He is Lord of all–– 37.   "that word you know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee after the baptism which John preached: 38.   "how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. 39.   "And we are witnesses of all things which He did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem, whom they killed by hanging on a tree. 40.   "Him God raised up on the third day, and showed Him openly, 41.   "not to all the people, but to witnesses chosen before by God, even to us who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead. 42.   "And He commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is He who was ordained by God to be Judge of the living and the dead. 43.   "To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins." 44.   While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word. 45.   And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also. 46.   For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God. Then Peter answered, 47.   "Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have ?" 48.   And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then they asked him to stay a few days.
