RM 15:1-13

BIL 6

1.   Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 2.   "Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When either a man or woman consecrates an offering to take the vow of a Nazirite, to separate himself to the LORD, 3.   ‘he shall separate himself from wine and similar drink; he shall drink neither vinegar made from wine nor vinegar made from similar drink; neither shall he drink any grape juice, nor eat fresh grapes or raisins. 4.   ‘All the days of his separation he shall eat nothing that is produced by the grapevine, from seed to skin. 5.   ‘All the days of the vow of his separation no razor shall come upon his head; until the days are fulfilled for which he separated himself to the LORD, he shall be holy. Then he shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow. 6.   ‘All the days that he separates himself to the LORD he shall not go near a dead body. 7.   ‘He shall not make himself unclean even for his father or his mother, for his brother or his sister, when they die, because his separation to God is on his head. 8.   ‘All the days of his separation he shall be holy to the LORD. 9.   ‘And if anyone dies very suddenly beside him, and he defiles his consecrated head, then he shall shave his head on the day of his cleansing; on the seventh day he shall shave it. 10.   ‘Then on the eighth day he shall bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of meeting; 11.   ‘and the priest shall offer one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering, and make atonement for him, because he sinned in regard to the corpse; and he shall sanctify his head that same day. 12.   ‘He shall consecrate to the LORD the days of his separation, and bring a male lamb in its first year as a trespass offering; but the former days shall be lost, because his separation was defiled. 13.   ‘Now this is the law of the Nazirite: When the days of his separation are fulfilled, he shall be brought to the door of the tabernacle of meeting. 14.   ‘And he shall present his offering to the LORD: one male lamb in its first year without blemish as a burnt offering, one ewe lamb in its first year without blemish as a sin offering, one ram without blemish as a peace offering, 15.   ‘a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mixed with oil, unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and their grain offering with their drink offerings. 16.   ‘Then the priest shall bring them before the LORD and offer his sin offering and his burnt offering; 17.   ‘and he shall offer the ram as a sacrifice of peace offering to the LORD, with the basket of unleavened bread; the priest shall also offer its grain offering and its drink offering. 18.   ‘Then the Nazirite shall shave his consecrated head at the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and shall take the hair from his consecrated head and put it on the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace offering. 19.   ‘And the priest shall take the boiled shoulder of the ram, one unleavened cake from the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and put them upon the hands of the Nazirite after he has shaved his consecrated hair , 20.   ‘and the priest shall wave them as a wave offering before the LORD; they are holy for the priest, together with the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the heave offering. After that the Nazirite may drink wine.’ 21.   "This is the law of the Nazirite who vows to the LORD the offering for his separation, and besides that, whatever else his hand is able to provide; according to the vow which he takes, so he must do according to the law of his separation." 22.   And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: 23.   "Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them: 24.   "The LORD bless you and keep you; 25.   The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; 26.   The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace."’ 27.   "So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them."

MZM 116

1.   I love the LORD, because He has heard My voice and my supplications. 2.   Because He has inclined His ear to me, Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live. 3.   The pains of death surrounded me, And the pangs of Sheol laid hold of me; I found trouble and sorrow. 4.   Then I called upon the name of the LORD: "O LORD, I implore You, deliver my soul!" 5.   Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; Yes, our God is merciful. 6.   The LORD preserves the simple; I was brought low, and He saved me. 7.   Return to your rest, O my soul, For the LORD has dealt bountifully with you. 8.   For You have delivered my soul from death, My eyes from tears, And my feet from falling. 9.   I will walk before the LORD In the land of the living. 10.   I believed, therefore I spoke, "I am greatly afflicted." 11.   I said in my haste, "All men are liars." 12.   What shall I render to the LORD For all His benefits toward me? 13.   I will take up the cup of salvation, And call upon the name of the LORD. 14.   I will pay my vows to the LORD Now in the presence of all His people. 15.   Precious in the sight of the LORD Is the death of His saints. 16.   O LORD, truly I am Your servant; I am Your servant, the son of Your maidservant; You have loosed my bonds. 17.   I will offer to You the sacrifice of thanksgiving, And will call upon the name of the LORD. 18.   I will pay my vows to the LORD Now in the presence of all His people, 19.   In the courts of the LORD’S house, In the midst of you, O Jerusalem. Praise the LORD!

MZM 117

1.   Praise the LORD, all you Gentiles! Laud Him, all you peoples! 2.   For His merciful kindness is great toward us, And the truth of the LORD endures forever. Praise the LORD!

MZM 118

1.   Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. 2.   Let Israel now say, "His mercy endures forever." 3.   Let the house of Aaron now say, "His mercy endures forever." 4.   Let those who fear the LORD now say, "His mercy endures forever." 5.   I called on the LORD in distress; The LORD answered me and set me in a broad place. 6.   The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? 7.   The LORD is for me among those who help me; Therefore I shall see my desire on those who hate me. 8.   It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in man. 9.   It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in princes. 10.   All nations surrounded me, But in the name of the LORD I will destroy them. 11.   They surrounded me, Yes, they surrounded me; But in the name of the LORD I will destroy them. 12.   They surrounded me like bees; They were quenched like a fire of thorns; For in the name of the LORD I will destroy them. 13.   You pushed me violently, that I might fall, But the LORD helped me. 14.   The LORD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation. 15.   The voice of rejoicing and salvation Is in the tents of the righteous; The right hand of the LORD does valiantly. 16.   The right hand of the LORD is exalted; The right hand of the LORD does valiantly. 17.   I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of the LORD. 18.   The LORD has chastened me severely, But He has not given me over to death. 19.   Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will go through them, And I will praise the LORD. 20.   This is the gate of the LORD, Through which the righteous shall enter. 21.   I will praise You, For You have answered me, And have become my salvation. 22.   The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. 23.   This was the LORD’S doing; It is marvelous in our eyes. 24.   This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. 25.   Save now, I pray, O LORD; O LORD, I pray, send now prosperity. 26.   Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD! We have blessed you from the house of the LORD. 27.   God is the LORD, And He has given us light; Bind the sacrifice with cords to the horns of the altar. 28.   You are my God, and I will praise You; You are my God, I will exalt You. 29.   Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.

RM 15 1-13

1.   We then who are strong ought to bear with the scruples of the weak, and not to please ourselves. 2.   Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification. 3.   For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, "The reproaches of those who reproached You fell on Me." 4.   For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. 5.   Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like–minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, 6.   that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. 7.   Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God. 8.   Now I say that Jesus Christ has become a servant to the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made to the fathers, 9.   and that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy, as it is written: "For this reason I will confess to You among the Gentiles, And sing to Your name." 10.   And again he says: "Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people!" 11.   And again: "Praise the LORD, all you Gentiles! Laud Him, all you peoples!" 12.   And again, Isaiah says: "There shall be a root of Jesse; And He who shall rise to reign over the Gentiles, In Him the Gentiles shall hope." 13.   Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
