YES 14
MRK 11:20-33

UL 31 9-30

9.   So Moses wrote this law and delivered it to the priests, the sons of Levi, who bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and to all the elders of Israel. 10.   And Moses commanded them, saying: "At the end of every seven years, at the appointed time in the year of release, at the Feast of Tabernacles, 11.   "when all Israel comes to appear before the LORD your God in the place which He chooses, you shall read this law before all Israel in their hearing. 12.   "Gather the people together, men and women and little ones, and the stranger who is within your gates, that they may hear and that they may learn to fear the LORD your God and carefully observe all the words of this law, 13.   "and that their children, who have not known it, may hear and learn to fear the LORD your God as long as you live in the land which you cross the Jordan to possess." 14.   Then the LORD said to Moses, "Behold, the days approach when you must die; call Joshua, and present yourselves in the tabernacle of meeting, that I may inaugurate him." So Moses and Joshua went and presented themselves in the tabernacle of meeting. 15.   Now the LORD appeared at the tabernacle in a pillar of cloud, and the pillar of cloud stood above the door of the tabernacle. 16.   And the LORD said to Moses: "Behold, you will rest with your fathers; and this people will rise and play the harlot with the gods of the foreigners of the land, where they go to be among them, and they will forsake Me and break My covenant which I have made with them. 17.   "Then My anger shall be aroused against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide My face from them, and they shall be devoured. And many evils and troubles shall befall them, so that they will say in that day, ‘Have not these evils come upon us because our God is not among us?’ 18.   "And I will surely hide My face in that day because of all the evil which they have done, in that they have turned to other gods. 19.   "Now therefore, write down this song for yourselves, and teach it to the children of Israel; put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for Me against the children of Israel. 20.   "When I have brought them to the land flowing with milk and honey, of which I swore to their fathers, and they have eaten and filled themselves and grown fat, then they will turn to other gods and serve them; and they will provoke Me and break My covenant. 21.   "Then it shall be, when many evils and troubles have come upon them, that this song will testify against them as a witness; for it will not be forgotten in the mouths of their descendants, for I know the inclination of their behavior today, even before I have brought them to the land of which I swore to give them ." 22.   Therefore Moses wrote this song the same day, and taught it to the children of Israel. 23.   Then He inaugurated Joshua the son of Nun, and said, "Be strong and of good courage; for you shall bring the children of Israel into the land of which I swore to them, and I will be with you." 24.   So it was, when Moses had completed writing the words of this law in a book, when they were finished, 25.   that Moses commanded the Levites, who bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying: 26.   "Take this Book of the Law, and put it beside the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there as a witness against you; 27.   "for I know your rebellion and your stiff neck. If today, while I am yet alive with you, you have been rebellious against the LORD, then how much more after my death? 28.   "Gather to me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these words in their hearing and call heaven and earth to witness against them. 29.   "For I know that after my death you will become utterly corrupt, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days, because you will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke Him to anger through the work of your hands." 30.   Then Moses spoke in the hearing of all the assembly of Israel the words of this song until they were ended:

YES 14

1.   For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will still choose Israel, and settle them in their own land. The strangers will be joined with them, and they will cling to the house of Jacob. 2.   Then people will take them and bring them to their place, and the house of Israel will possess them for servants and maids in the land of the LORD; they will take them captive whose captives they were, and rule over their oppressors. 3.   It shall come to pass in the day the LORD gives you rest from your sorrow, and from your fear and the hard bondage in which you were made to serve, 4.   that you will take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say: "How the oppressor has ceased, The golden city ceased! 5.   The LORD has broken the staff of the wicked, The scepter of the rulers; 6.   He who struck the people in wrath with a continual stroke, He who ruled the nations in anger, Is persecuted and no one hinders. 7.   The whole earth is at rest and quiet; They break forth into singing. 8.   Indeed the cypress trees rejoice over you, And the cedars of Lebanon, Saying , ‘Since you were cut down, No woodsman has come up against us.’ 9.   "Hell from beneath is excited about you, To meet you at your coming; It stirs up the dead for you, All the chief ones of the earth; It has raised up from their thrones All the kings of the nations. 10.   They all shall speak and say to you: ‘Have you also become as weak as we? Have you become like us? 11.   Your pomp is brought down to Sheol, And the sound of your stringed instruments; The maggot is spread under you, And worms cover you.’ 12.   "How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! 13.   For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; 14.   I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ 15.   Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit. 16.   "Those who see you will gaze at you, And consider you, saying: ‘Is this the man who made the earth tremble, Who shook kingdoms, 17.   Who made the world as a wilderness And destroyed its cities, Who did not open the house of his prisoners?’ 18.   "All the kings of the nations, All of them, sleep in glory, Everyone in his own house; 19.   But you are cast out of your grave Like an abominable branch, Like the garment of those who are slain, Thrust through with a sword, Who go down to the stones of the pit, Like a corpse trodden underfoot. 20.   You will not be joined with them in burial, Because you have destroyed your land And slain your people. The brood of evildoers shall never be named. 21.   Prepare slaughter for his children Because of the iniquity of their fathers, Lest they rise up and possess the land, And fill the face of the world with cities." 22.   "For I will rise up against them," says the LORD of hosts, "And cut off from Babylon the name and remnant, And offspring and posterity," says the LORD. 23.   "I will also make it a possession for the porcupine, And marshes of muddy water; I will sweep it with the broom of destruction," says the LORD of hosts. 24.   The LORD of hosts has sworn, saying, "Surely, as I have thought, so it shall come to pass, And as I have purposed, so it shall stand: 25.   That I will break the Assyrian in My land, And on My mountains tread him underfoot. Then his yoke shall be removed from them, And his burden removed from their shoulders. 26.   This is the purpose that is purposed against the whole earth, And this is the hand that is stretched out over all the nations. 27.   For the LORD of hosts has purposed, And who will annul it ? His hand is stretched out, And who will turn it back?" 28.   This is the burden which came in the year that King Ahaz died. 29.   "Do not rejoice, all you of Philistia, Because the rod that struck you is broken; For out of the serpent’s roots will come forth a viper, And its offspring will be a fiery flying serpent. 30.   The firstborn of the poor will feed, And the needy will lie down in safety; I will kill your roots with famine, And it will slay your remnant. 31.   Wail, O gate! Cry, O city! All you of Philistia are dissolved; For smoke will come from the north, And no one will be alone in his appointed times." 32.   What will they answer the messengers of the nation? That the LORD has founded Zion, And the poor of His people shall take refuge in it.

MRK 11 20-33

20.   Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. 21.   And Peter, remembering, said to Him, "Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away." 22.   So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God. 23.   "For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24.   "Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them , and you will have them . 25.   "And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. 26.   "But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses." 27.   Then they came again to Jerusalem. And as He was walking in the temple, the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders came to Him. 28.   And they said to Him, "By what authority are You doing these things? And who gave You this authority to do these things?" 29.   But Jesus answered and said to them, "I also will ask you one question; then answer Me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things: 30.   "The baptism of John––was it from heaven or from men? Answer Me." 31.   And they reasoned among themselves, saying, "If we say, ‘From heaven,’ He will say, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’ 32.   "But if we say, ‘From men’" ––they feared the people, for all counted John to have been a prophet indeed. 33.   So they answered and said to Jesus, "We do not know." And Jesus answered and said to them, "Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things."
