BIL 12

1.   Then Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married; for he had married an Ethiopian woman. 2.   So they said, "Has the LORD indeed spoken only through Moses? Has He not spoken through us also?" And the LORD heard it . 3.   (Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth.) 4.   Suddenly the LORD said to Moses, Aaron, and Miriam, "Come out, you three, to the tabernacle of meeting!" So the three came out. 5.   Then the LORD came down in the pillar of cloud and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam. And they both went forward. 6.   Then He said, "Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I , the LORD, make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak to him in a dream. 7.   Not so with My servant Moses; He is faithful in all My house. 8.   I speak with him face to face, Even plainly, and not in dark sayings; And he sees the form of the LORD. Why then were you not afraid To speak against My servant Moses?" 9.   So the anger of the LORD was aroused against them, and He departed. 10.   And when the cloud departed from above the tabernacle, suddenly Miriam became leprous, as white as snow. Then Aaron turned toward Miriam, and there she was, a leper. 11.   So Aaron said to Moses, "Oh, my lord! Please do not lay this sin on us, in which we have done foolishly and in which we have sinned. 12.   "Please do not let her be as one dead, whose flesh is half consumed when he comes out of his mother’s womb!" 13.   So Moses cried out to the LORD, saying, "Please heal her, O God, I pray!" 14.   Then the LORD said to Moses, "If her father had but spit in her face, would she not be shamed seven days? Let her be shut out of the camp seven days, and afterward she may be received again ." 15.   So Miriam was shut out of the camp seven days, and the people did not journey till Miriam was brought in again . 16.   And afterward the people moved from Hazeroth and camped in the Wilderness of Paran.

MZM 131

1.   <> LORD, my heart is not haughty, Nor my eyes lofty. Neither do I concern myself with great matters, Nor with things too profound for me. 0.   2Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul, Like a weaned child with his mother; Like a weaned child is my soul within me. 3.   O Israel, hope in the LORD From this time forth and forever.

MZM 132

1.   <> LORD, remember David And all his afflictions; 0.   2How he swore to the LORD, And vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob: 3.   "Surely I will not go into the chamber of my house, Or go up to the comfort of my bed; 4.   I will not give sleep to my eyes Or slumber to my eyelids, 5.   Until I find a place for the LORD, A dwelling place for the Mighty One of Jacob." 6.   Behold, we heard of it in Ephrathah; We found it in the fields of the woods. 7.   Let us go into His tabernacle; Let us worship at His footstool. 8.   Arise, O LORD, to Your resting place, You and the ark of Your strength. 9.   Let Your priests be clothed with righteousness, And let Your saints shout for joy. 10.   For Your servant David’s sake, Do not turn away the face of Your Anointed. 11.   The LORD has sworn in truth to David; He will not turn from it: "I will set upon your throne the fruit of your body. 12.   If your sons will keep My covenant And My testimony which I shall teach them, Their sons also shall sit upon your throne forevermore." 13.   For the LORD has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His dwelling place: 14.   "This is My resting place forever; Here I will dwell, for I have desired it. 15.   I will abundantly bless her provision; I will satisfy her poor with bread. 16.   I will also clothe her priests with salvation, And her saints shall shout aloud for joy. 17.   There I will make the horn of David grow; I will prepare a lamp for My Anointed. 18.   His enemies I will clothe with shame, But upon Himself His crown shall flourish."

MZM 133

1.   <> Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity! 0.   2 It is like the precious oil upon the head, Running down on the beard, The beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments. 3.   It is like the dew of Hermon, Descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the LORD commanded the blessing––Life forevermore.

MZM 134

1.   <> Behold, bless the LORD, All you servants of the LORD, Who by night stand in the house of the LORD! 0.   2Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, And bless the LORD. 3.   The LORD who made heaven and earth Bless you from Zion!

1KOR 4

1.   Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. 2.   Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful. 3.   But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by a human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself. 4.   For I know nothing against myself, yet I am not justified by this; but He who judges me is the Lord. 5.   Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one’s praise will come from God. 6.   Now these things, brethren, I have figuratively transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes, that you may learn in us not to think beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up on behalf of one against the other. 7.   For who makes you differ from another ? And what do you have that you did not receive? Now if you did indeed receive it , why do you boast as if you had not received it ? 8.   You are already full! You are already rich! You have reigned as kings without us––and indeed I could wish you did reign, that we also might reign with you! 9.   For I think that God has displayed us, the apostles, last, as men condemned to death; for we have been made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to men. 10.   We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are distinguished, but we are dishonored! 11.   To the present hour we both hunger and thirst, and we are poorly clothed, and beaten, and homeless. 12.   And we labor, working with our own hands. Being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we endure; 13.   being defamed, we entreat. We have been made as the filth of the world, the offscouring of all things until now. 14.   I do not write these things to shame you, but as my beloved children I warn you . 15.   For though you might have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. 16.   Therefore I urge you, imitate me. 17.   For this reason I have sent Timothy to you, who is my beloved and faithful son in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways in Christ, as I teach everywhere in every church. 18.   Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you. 19.   But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord wills, and I will know, not the word of those who are puffed up, but the power. 20.   For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power. 21.   What do you want? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of gentleness?
